Kia ora,

Last week our team led the Heads of Mission visit to Tauranga, on behalf of Tauranga City Council and in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Representatives from 37 countries visited for a two-day study tour as part of the largest diplomatic delegation to visit Tauranga. The tour has been a fantastic opportunity to showcase the city’s key sectors and product, and to highlight local trade and investment opportunities as Aotearoa’s international borders begin to open and we reconnect with the world.

A reminder, consultation is now open for the next phase of developments for the Tauriko for Tomorrow project which closes 5pm, 17 June, and the proposed reclassification of an area of land at Marine Park at Sulphur Point which closes 5pm, 20 June. We encourage you to submit feedback on both.

Finally, Priority One has joined NZ Tech in delivering a free workshop aimed at introducing local tech businesses to the new We See Tomorrow First campaign and toolkit. The workshop will coach attendees on using the toolkit to help NZ businesses tell a unified and compelling story to the world about our tech sector.
