The Ara Rau team partnered with Winstone Wallboards Ltd to run an open day for the Tauranga Moana community to hear about the exciting opportunities ahead for their brand new state-of-the-art manufacturing and distribution facility currently being built in Tauriko.

We held this at Youth Central which is home to the BOP Youth Development Trust and we had many people there wanting to hear more about the range of roles on offer – Engineering, Trades, Production and Distribution.

The Ara Rau team was there to assist people with career pathway support and the Solomon Group had their warehousing courses open for those needing to upskill. It was a great team effort by all involved.

The buzz and excitement in the room was felt by everyone. Many people registered their interest and we hope it causes a ripple effect onto whanau and friends who want to hear more. Priority One have been working alongside Winstone Wallboards since they confirmed the move to Tauranga. We know this is a great opportunity for our city.
